If you have a post that can't be put in the ground and needs to bolt onto concrete or something else, then you need a plate for that post! These plates don't always have to be at the bottom; some have used them to mount posts into a concrete or brick wall! For non-vinyl applications, these posts can be welded with the posts centered or offset (flush to one side)! Holes are 1/2" wide.
This 4" sq. plate is primarily meant to be used for vinyl fence plated posts since the vinyl posts can sleeve over them; but also have some applications in chain link and ornamental steel/iron fences!
